A man suffered a broken nose and fractured cheek bone during a road rage incident in Banbury on Sunday.
At around 12.30pm on Sunday (26/6), there was an altercation between the occupants of three cars in Beaumont Road at the traffic lights by Karcher House.
The victim, a 51-year-old man, was driving a blue Ford Focus and got out of his vehicle to remonstrate with the driver of a white VW Golf.
As this verbal altercation was taking place, a white Mercedes car pulled up and a man got out of this vehicle and assaulted the driver of the blue Ford Focus.
He was taken to Horton General Hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.
The offender is white, around 30 years old, large build, 6ft tall.
Thames Valley Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information which could help with the investigation.
