Prime Minister David Cameron made a surprise visit to Banbury today (22nd June 2016), when he met with children at the Warriner School in Bloxham.

The Prime Minister was continuing his campaign to avoid a Brexit ahead of the EU referendum tomorrow (23rd June 2016).

At Warriner School in Bloxham, the PM, who was joined by historian Dan Snow and ex-Liberal Democrat leader Paddy Ashdown, high-fived cheering pupils before talking to sixth formers voting for the first time tomorrow.

Only one of the group admitted to being committed to back Brexit – a frankness called “brave” by ex-special forces soldier Lord Ashdown who had told them he was “trained in cruel and unusual punishment”.

Whilst in Oxfordshire, David Cameron, also chatted with customers at The Farmhouse Kitchen at Millets Farm about why Britain is stronger, safer and better off in Europe. He also met with farmers in Abingdon.

As part of the visit the BBC was also filming in Ye Olde Reinedeer Inn and the Old Auctioneer Pub in Banbury with John Pienaar (BBC Deputy Political Editor) asking locals how they would be voting tomorrow.
