Despite the bad weather, thousands of people made their way to Spiceball Park in Banbury to enjoy the Banbury and District Show organised by the Banbury Town Council.

The theme for this year’s event was the Queen’s Birthday and a giant TV screen was provided to broadcast live the official events attended by the Queen.

This year’s event included impressive displays in the arena from the Xtreme Stunt Team, the Coventry Drum Corps and the Banbury Cross Flyball Club.

On the stage in the second field, young dancers and the Brackley Brass Band entertained the crowds.

Other entertainment included a funfair, charity stalls, food and drink, ferret racing, climbing walls.
