Luckily no one was seriously injured in the crash; colleagues at South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust treated the driver at the scene and checked over the people in the Black Price pub for shock.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said, “Certainly a very lucky escape, a few inches either way and the van could have crashed into the pub, or ended up in the river!”
