Man punched and robbed in Banbury

Thames Valley Police are appealing for information after a robbery in Banbury.

At around 8.20pm on Wednesday (14/9), the victim, a 19-year-old man, was walking along Queensway and turned into an alleyway where two men were sat on a wall.

One of the men asked the victim for a cigarette and then punched him on the jaw. The second man then took the cigarettes from the victim before both offenders walked off.

The victim did not require hospital treatment.

The first offender is white, approximately 6ft 2ins, aged in his early to mid twenties, with blond hair and he was wearing glasses.

The second offender is white, aged in his early to mid twenties, with short brown hair.
